Choosing Life: From Survival to Resilience Our Journey from the Ruins of Nir Oz to Growth Presented by Barak Morag
On October 7th, in Kibbutz Nir Oz, Barak and his family spent many hours inside a safe room as terrorists tried to break in. When they failed, they set their home on fire and forced the family to make life-or-death decisions.
As we mark three years since the atrocities and war which began on that day, Barak will share a personal testimony of what occurred to his family on that day, which is a window into the wider tragedy of the Nir Oz community, and he will also speak about the choice he and his family have made to rebuild and begin life again from the ruins of that day.
